The 22nd edition of AfricaCom kicked off in Cape Town and brought together around 15 000 attendees, 450 speakers and 500 exhibitors. The event which will take place on 12-14 November, focuses on connectivity, disruptive technologies, digital services and ICT strategies.
This year, AfricaCom is co-located with both Mission Critical Technologies Africa, an event dedicated to critical connectivity, and Video Exchange Africa, an event focused on video distribution and content strategy.
What’s new in this year’s edition is The Women in Tech Centre Stage Takeover which took place on the AfricaTech Centre Stage on November 12th. The program was made up of panels, presentations and discussions from tech superstars and look at issues of diversity, inclusivity, and the essential part women are playing in Africa’s growth through technology.
In addition, Data Centres Africa will deliver expert guidance on global data centre trends, the evolution of the African data centre ecosystem, strategies and delivery models, improving performance and reliability and powering data centres.
Furthermore, Future of Work at AfricaCom will provide the opportunity to debate the challenges and opportunities around skills, evolving demographics, learning & development, talent and employee engagement. Be part of this important debate and help Africa harness the power of its people.
