Performed at Russia’s Vostochny Cosmodrome, Soyuz Flight ST31 orbited 36 new OneWeb satellites – bringing the size of the fleet in orbit to 182. Flight ST31 was the 56th Soyuz mission carried out by Arianespace and its Starsem affiliate.

Google Cloud has appointed Abdul Rahman Al Thehaiban as managing director for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa region (META) to lead enterprise sales for Google Cloud across the META region. Botswana said it has abandoned plans to implement mobile number portability (MNP) among the country’s three mobile phone operators after more than six years of preparation. Minister of Transport and Communications, Thulaganyo Segokgo, told Parliament the initiative would not proceed as an operator network readiness assessment study had shown that it was not feasible.
