Benya Group, an integrated digital solutions and ICT infrastructure provider in Egypt, the Middle East and Africa, has signed a partnership agreement with SAP International, a leader in software production for business operations management, to support digital transformation in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Huawei and MTN Group signed a memorandum of understanding at MWC Barcelona to strengthen strategic cooperation in environmental, social and governance matters. Nokia announced that it has been selected by MTN South Africa (MTN SA) for the first time ever as one of its 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment providers. Under the deal, Nokia will modernize the existing 2G/3G/4G radio network and expand MTN’s 5G radio network across 2800 sites in the central and eastern parts of the country — driving digitalization across the African continent. MTN SA is part of MTN Group Limited, Africa's largest mobile network operator with operations in 17 countries serving 272 million subscribers.

Nokia announced that its innovative OSS/BSS software solutions have been selected by Orange and the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) company owned by the Egyptian government to deliver a wide range of retail and wholesale services for the New Administrative Capital city. Nokia AVA products, including its operations and monetization software, will be used by the Administrative Capital for Urban Development of Egypt (ACUD) to enable customers to order, activate and pay for utilities and data center services.

Nokia announced a new collaboration with UNICEF to bridge the digital divide by helping to improve digital education and training in schools in select parts of Senegal, West Africa. Nokia has announced it is providing its 7250 IXR (interconnect router) platforms with 400G-enabled interfaces to Africa Data Centres, the continent’s largest provider of interconnected, carrier- and cloud-neutral data center facilities. The solution will enable Africa Data Centres, a business of Cassava Technologies, a pan-African technology group, to offer cost-effective, high-capacity interconnection services to its customers in multiple African countries.
