Sudatel announced plans to deploy ultra-broadband network across Sudan. With the cooperation of Nokia, trials will launch in Khartoum first to test the vendor’s 4.5G Pro, 4.9G and 5G mobile technologies in addition to its fixed FTTH portfolio aiming to uphold the mobile and residential broadband experience in the country.
Under its 2020 Strategy, Sudatel is focused on transforming its fixed access and mobile service offerings. The company wants to enhance the subscriber experience on any device, in the home and on-the-move with high-speed delivery of voice, data and video and fixed and mobile packages, as well as e-government, e-health and other consumer and business services.

5G will allow Sudatel to provide to its customers access to a wide range of innovative products that will improve their ICT experience and will allow it to become a converged services operator.
