As a wrap-up to the 16th edition of Telecom Review Leaders’ Summit, Telecom Review organized the 11th edition of its Excellence Awards ceremony where global and regional companies and industry leaders are being recognized for their innovative efforts and influential reputation throughout 2022.
Telecom Review, together with an independent panel of judges, continued its dedication and commitment to the ICT industry in ranking the best of the best in terms of corporate innovation and performance as well as individual capabilities and contributions as influential players globally.

For the category of Leader of the Year: Government or Non-Profit Organization, Secretary-General John Omo, African Telecommunications Union, was announced as the winner. He leads the continental body entrusted with building consensus within African countries in the development of ICT policies, systems, and services and also in coordinating Africa’s participation in international ICT proceedings.
The 16th edition of the Telecom Review Leaders’ Summit, under the new theme “Global, Regional, Digital,” is one of the most anticipated and largest ICT events in the industry. Comprising of thousands of distinguished guests physically and virtually, the two-day gathering on December 7-8, 2022 welcomed C-level executives within the ICT industry and a broad range of professionals including telecom operators, telecom vendors/suppliers, industry regulators, government officials, content providers, cybersecurity experts, consultants and smart city innovators.
